Universal lid for Eco-Products PLA plastic souffle / portion cups are 100% compostable. Made from corn, an annually renewable resource, PLA is a plastic-like resin that is fully biodegradable. With a similar look and feel as clear plastic portion cups, these PLA cups will naturally decompose back to organic elements in approximately 60 days under commercial composting conditions. Bio-Plastic is an earth friendly, petroleum free alternative to regular plastic. Heat Disclaimer We certify that all corn-based products (PLA) are stored in our temperature controlled warehouses. We are not responsible for any defects or deformation that may occur during transit due to temperatures over 110 degrees. Although we experience very few issues, UPS, FedEx other freight companies will not guarantee temperature-controlled delivery environments. Therefore, we cannot take responsibility for any heat-related defects that occur during transit.
