Made from corn, an annually renewable resource, NatureWorks PLA is a plastic-like resin that is fully biodegradable. With a similar look and feel as clear plastic, these PLA salad bowls will naturally decompose back to organic elements in approximately 50-100 days under commercial composting conditions.
